What do they trade there? Pelts?
1. Not currently, I'll check it out around 2000 hrs, to get a feel for when I should commence my evening walk.

2. Nothing currently. While in operation it probably offered Navajo and/or Hopi jewelry, rugs, curios. Most likely some gas station standbys like smokes and energy drinks as well.

Saw something on my evening walking activity that I hadn't seen on the Third Creek Greenway before: A guy wondering about a bench, strumming a guitar and singing. No one else around. He was in shorts. No T-shirt or shoes. It's warmer than average, but not that warm.

Odd stuff going on in the world.

I've never wondered about a bench before.

but

I woke last night to the sound of thunder,
How far off I sat and wondered.

Did you think it was going to go from Illinois to Arizona in a partial day?

Is there any Pennsylvania case law on whether or not a horse is a vehicle?

Unclear but we probably have case law. Since the horse is following directions from the rider it's probably illegal to ride a horse while intoxicated.

This question/issue will be ever more important if/when we have truly self-driving cars, is it ok to "drive" a self-driving car while under the influence?

I would let the lawyers argue this one.

One would assume that when such vehicles are okayed for real-world use, that state legislatures in their wisdom (and I use the term very loosely in states such as this one) will add/modify statutes to cover their operation.

The internet says a passenger in a Waymo (driverless rideshare service) can be intoxicated since they are not driving the vehicle, as long as they are not in the driver's seat.

Spent my first day wrenching at the bike shop in eight months. It was a surprisingly productive day.

Bicycle repair is a seasonal endeavor in the Actual North. No part-timers in the off season.

SW Ontario report: sometime in March/April to sometime in late November/early December around here. Much depends on the timing of the onset/end of snow and ice. That is the variable. Of course, there are those who ride throughout winter. I am not among their number.

Things start to get serious around now. People that pamper their bikes don't like to ride outside until after some heavy rain episodes -- washes the salt off the roads.
