Just got my first road bike...'09 Six 5. I love it so far. I just put the Mondo Pro II tires on today and just did a quick rip around the block to check them out. Gonna have to test them out tomorrow. Shot of my Capo too as a bonus.

The fork is full carbon as opposed to the carbon with aluminum steer tube from last year. I don't have much to compare it to, since it's the first carbon fork I've ridden. What I can say is that it makes for a very comfortable ride. Most of my other bikes are/have been steel, and I can't say that the ride of my aluminum CAAD9 is noticeably harsher than any of them. I suspect that a big part of the smooth ride can be attributed to the fork.

I bought it about a month ago and I LOVE it. I changed the handlebar tape because it was filthy and changed the saddle to Selle Italia SLR Gel Flow.
I also gotta pull that wire tight underneath my downtube, it keeps coming loose!!

I bought this 2007 Synapse 1 last June from a guy who couldn't ride it anymore. He had only put 200 miles on it. It's a great ride! I've been enjoying it ever since.

Nice pic, but flip it and lose the disk, take a pic from the drivetrain side!
I really like the blue.

Upgraded
I wanted to paste recent pictures of her after the upgrades. Moved from entry level to Ultegra components, 9 speed to 10 speed, and from tiple to double. Now, really love the bike!

Thanks guys. I'm located in California. I think $1,150 is a fair price all things considered. PM me if you're interested, I've got plenty of photos.

Nice thread - really enjoyed looking at all the great C-dales. This is my first (and so far only) "real" racing bike. Got it in 2005 as an anniversary present from the Mrs. Specs and upgrades at https://suitcaseofcourage.typepad.com...eady-bike.html

I'm jealous of all these beautiful rides.... soon enough mine will be here. Have a 2010 supersix on order. Can't wait for it to arrive. Well, then I need a good job in order to finish the build. I hate waiting!

New pictures with white Arundel bottle cages. I'm thinking black might have been a better choice.

Just picked this up from craigslist the other day. My first real road bike. (had a 1980 Schwinn Varsity before, and was borrowing a friends Trek Pilot 5.2 for a while)
2008 Six13 5, 52cm, 105 shifters/front, Ultegra rear, Fizik Arione wing flex saddle. New bottle cages (recommendations?) and bar tape will be the first things to come. Getting fitted next week probably. So great to finally have my OWN bike!
So far it has been the smoothest bike I've ever ridden (minus the 30lb steel schwinn). On a chip-seal road I ride frequently, the difference was night and day between this and the Pilot...crazy!
