Best frozen Margaritas ever:

In a blender add:

1 6oz. can of frozen concentrated Minute Maid Limeaid
6 oz. Jose Cuervo or better Tequila (use the Limeaid can)
3 oz. of Triple Sec

Add ice to fill the blender to within 1" of the top. Blend for two minutes. Add about 3 oz. of water if necessary to facilitate smoother blending.

Drink and repeat.

No wonder Euro could wax you guys on the road - y'all are drinking too much!

bbattle 02-17-06 08:05 AM

I make a pretty good Martini. Add ice and Bombay Sapphire to shaker. Shake well, strain into glass.

For some people I might throw in half a capful of vermouth, dry or sweet. And a couple of olives, for the vitamins.

I make a good Bloody Mary according to my wife; I don't drink them myself. Vodka, celery salt, Worcestshire sauce, lime, Tobasco or Crystal's hot sauce, black pepper, Clamato. Shake well, pour into glass. Add pickled aparagus spears.

Making the trip to Fayetteville this afternoon. Lottery is up to 365million. I could afford to buy some Assos if I hit that.

Now, is that equal parts or what? That would be downright unique....

What parts on this recipe? Always looking for a fresh way to mix up a morning refresher...

It was 80 degrees and beautiful yesterday. Today it's in 30's and windy. Tomorrow and Sunday worse.

Today I'm having a salad with some tuna fish, apples, walnuts, sunflower seed and orange poppyseed dressing. Also some vanilla yogurt. I bring my lunch everyday so I don't have to go out.

GuitarWizard 02-17-06 11:16 AM

Hmmm......I'm in the mood for some rigatoni, but don't feel like making it (still not feeling well). I think a turkey sandwich will do the trick. Yeah, that sounds good....

Dude I have a great turkey sandwich recipe.

One large turkey breast (go to you butcher and get fresh one)

One stick of unsalted butter

Fresh herbs (about 1tsp of each)
Tyme
Dill
Parsley
Chives

Salt
Pepper

Finely chop the herbs then take the room temp butter in a stainless steel bowl and mix with the herbs and some salt and pepper.

Take the turkey breast and about 1/3 of the herb butter and stick it under the skin on the top of the breast.

In hot skillet add some olive oil and put in the breast top down. Cook for about 2min then in a pre-heated oven (425 degrees) add the skillet and cook for about an hour.

When done take some soughdough or french country bread and smear on some of the herb butter cut up some of the breast add some of your favorite cheese and grill.

Let's see; Put 4-5 icecubes in large glass, probably two or three shots of vodka, 4 shakes of Worcestshire sauce, about a teaspoon of pepper, half teaspoon of celery salt, 5,6 shakes of Tobasco, half a lime's worth of juice. Fill to the top with Clamato. Pour into cocktail shaker and shake it till it's very cold. Then pour back into glass and enjoy.

I can't wait for Race #3! I've got a great recipe for spinach lasagna.

Spinach lasagna sounds awesome....post up that recipie!!!

2Rodies 02-17-06 11:55 AM

Race #3 should also include any post ride recipe's, for smoothies etc. As a matter of fact I don't think race #3 should include anything but food.

Namenda 02-17-06 11:58 AM

Someone should post a traditional English recipe. You know...boiled...tasteless...unimaginative. I wonder why nobody goes out for English food?

Well...2Rodies, you are a car guy...how about in Race#3 we revive some good car pics and Danno can import some pics of beautiful women. Of course we won't mention any English cars because they all went out of business...well most of them :)

Lol EURO reminds me of Ron Artest. Has all the talent in the world but has a bad attitude. I think EURO's racing aspirations are awsome, and it takes a certain character to actually go out and try to acheive it. With that said, being a little more plesant wouldn't hurt. You never know when you are going to need someone elses help.

Oh, and it takes a really big mean man to post an out of context, abridged quote in your signature. We're all in awe of you EURO, I mean, really, we are... honestly... believe me... no... oh well.

I go out for English food all the time; I grew up on the stuff (my mum came over from England when she was 18 or so on the Queen Mary). There's a great English pub down the road from me a bit -- they have excellent Roast Beef & Yorkshire Pudding. Their Scottish Bridie is top notch, too, as is their Curried Chicken. And their Fish & Chips.

...

Actually, I can't think of a dish there that isn't top notch. And the bar... my gawd do they have a fine selection of beers, ales, stouts, pilsners, heffeweisen... you name it.

Mm mm good.

iamtim 02-17-06 02:02 PM

*blink, blink*

I wonder when the mods are gonna drop-kick this thread?

I'm not all that impressed with his aspirations. Ron Artest was a pro playing at the highest level of his chosen sport. EURO's goal is be a Cat2 amature racer, we had a guy who did that last year from 5 to 2 in 12 months. Pizza will be (barring anymore injury) a cat 2 within a year or two also. This clown has been at it for years and he's finally getting there.

Sorry to get so far off topic. Biker7 the car thing sounds like a great idea. I'll up load all of my race car shots and Danno can supply the 'Betty's"!

cuda2k 02-17-06 02:07 PM

Seems they are all in a winter slumber of sorts. I'll extend my congratulations to EURO for a well run race. There's nothing wrong with following through with your plans and making it happen. Seemed like for just a moment he was in a better mood after placing well and was lightening up a bit. But then, in the blink of an eye, he went back to being as cheerful as that scowl on his face in the picture.

So to you EURO - turn that frown upside down! :D Can't we all just get along? ;)
