Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Bikes: Mikkelsen custom steel, Santa Cruz Chameleon SS, old trek trainer bike

Lynskey R230 w/ Shimano 6700 Ultegra and Stan's Alphs Comp wheels (to become Campy Chorus w/ 2 Way Fit Fulcrum Racing 3's or 2 Way Fit Campy Eurus's when my Tarmac sells).

LOVE the ride, not a fan of Shimano anymore... nor do I like the 172.5 crank (it was free, can't turn that down). This thing is fast, and feels alive. Plenty stiff for my 140 lbs.

Bikes: Seven Axiom SL

Here is my Seven Axiom SL. This is what someone who's 6-7 with zero hip flexibility gets to ride. This thing is an absolute dream.

R500's came with the bike, so riding them until they blow up, then replacing them with something better.

The one on the down tube took some getting used to, and is still a bit of a challenge, but the one on the seat tube is fine.

I'm debating between the Baum Cubano and the Moots VaMoots RSL in Campy Record of course. I have a 2006 Moots Compact that I love...........
