Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Another Lynskey R230 just assembled recently ...

Really love the ride, smooth, responsive and fast ... only weakness is the engine

Ooooo, nice build on the R230, especially the fork. Also really like the look of the new durachee on titanium bikes. It's like it was made for it. How do you like the swift? I tried to make one work, but they don't seem to agree with 4" of bar drop.

Here's my Lynskey R330. I left the cables and steerer tube long since I am still dialing in my position. I love the ride of this bike! It definitely feels more responsive when out of the saddle compared to my other bikes.

Just found out about this thread. I'm new to road bikes and I just picked up this 94' Performance TR1000. It probably has less than 100 miles on it and came with full dura ace components. So far I'm diggin it Here is a link for the specs of this bike and some pics.

R230 all dressed up and ready for her first big dance, the Tour of Long Beach. I swapped out the stem from the white one. Hope that makes me more cooler.
