Motobecane Century Apex (or Rival) with upgraded handlebars and saddle? I have the same bike. It's a really stiff bike.
I've had it for ~18 months and have been really happy with it. |

14lbs with that triple .... NFW ..... you need a new scale. The Topolino wheelset is fairly light but there is nothing on the bike uber weight weenie. My guess is with pedals that bike is easily over 15lbs ... maybe more.

Nice looking rig. How do you like your groupset / hydraulic disc brakes?
Thanks...I dig the bike very much. I'm loving the wheels as well... Not hydraulic...Avid BB-7 Road cable actuated... Nevertheless, I love them, stop me on a dime and I'm 205# @ 5'10"... The groupset is Ultegra 6700... CX70 46t/36t chainset, 12-30 cassette in the rear... I am pondering a wee bit lower gearing due to some short but steep climbs in my area... I have one hill .3 miles long that averages 13% and pitches to 24-29% at certain points, I caught some leaves on it my last climb, rear tire slipped and after my momentum was gone I was cooked...A few other short but nasty ones as well on trails that just happen to be on very convenient routes... or I should just HTFU...lmao |
Yeah. I agree. Nice looking bike.

This is my first post so I am sorry that the picture is so small. |

Here is my bike. Thinking of putting a little color into it with bar tape but not sure. Kind of like the subdued look.

curious about weight.
with ultegra, what kind of weights are your bikes? |
Mine is at 19.5 lbs. Of course my frame is larger than most and I have a triple.
|
My Merlin with Record 10 and Mavic Kysriym (sp) SL wheels at 60 cm is 17.6
|
I don't know what mine weighs but it's my favorite ride, and I have and have had some nice carbon ones...
