I got a new fork for the Bianchi. 10 out of 10 for aesthetics, still need to ride it.

The Titanium Bastard went to Holy Hill again, and this time I thought to take a picture! Still very much a work in progress, stem and bars are likely going to be replaced soon:

Is there a Ti frame/red treads club I can join? :D

Here's my new/old ride, 1999 Classic, with SRAM force 22, supra RA wheels...such a joy to ride!

My most fun bike ever (and newest), Jessica J, the TiCyles fix gear. First photo is a very early ride before I had my position dialed in. Second photo is of Jessica J at her best: climbing the 14% stretch of the 2 mile climb last year at Cycle Oregon.

I'm glad there aren't too many titanium bikes around, at least in my town there isn't, because they all look virtually the same, same color metal, same color forks, same color components, same color seat and bar tape. That's the reason I went with silver colored components and white bar tape and seat to match the white graphics but even with that it still looks almost the same as others.

Best group I've used. I love the ergonomics, and shifting just works. Haven't really missed a front shift, the ability to shift multiple gears at once in the rear is something I don't ever want to lose. Reliable and comfortable, what more could you ask for?

Slight updates to the ride, longer stem, new saddle that's further back on the rails, new cranks, and new pedals. Don't have the vector pedals anymore, but I have 5700c pedals instead.

I'm also going to be selling this, and getting a supersix evo to replace it. The bike is comfortable, but it's just a little too comfortable for me, if you get what I'm saying. The combination of the very skinny tubes and the 1 inch headtube make for a very compliant ride, and when I'm sprinting/climbing out of the saddle, I can feel the whole bike flexing under me, and I'd rather have that happen.

Thanks thin_concrete, I love it too! The painter actually went through the effort of getting the paint codes from Porsche for the 917 so that it accurately did it justice.

No... but I really want to! Throw on Campy Super Record 80th anniversary and a set of Shamal 2 way fit wheels... drool.

If you can, keep it and also have the Cannondale! I own both a nice Ti and nice Orca. Love them both and both have unique characteristics and make for some great rides. I would not call my Merlin lacking at all in stiffness and responsiveness. Putting on my carbon wheelset or light climbing wheelset transforms the Ti bike. MuffinMan, thanks for the new Campy group report. I have 4 year old Chorus 11 and wanted to know how it may have changed in recent iterations.
