Really nice bike Joe! Here's my simple thoughts on the situation........ It's all a matter of personal prefrence. As far as I can see there really isn't all that much difference between the three sram/campy/shimano. I personally went with sram rival. I don't like thumb shifters so that ruled out campy. I don't care for shimano because of my experiences with them on my MTB. I love sram on my MTB, so therefore I went with sram on my caad9 build and have been very happy thus far. Feel free to continue to argue semantics, it's entertaining. :)

While it's nice to be on the bleeding edge sometimes, we must all realize that technology will advance. If tomorrow Sram comes out with an even better set than Force, good for them. I actually hope they do. More power to them. It's called progresss. |
