The OP lists his location as The Pentagon...and we all know that is symbolic of the over-reaching and hegemonic American War Machine that often pulls the trigger against unsuspecting, benovolent despots!
In fact, if I see any five-sided objects reminiscent of that frightful building, I typically go catatonic with fear and my family needs to ensure a sick day is called-in to my employer.

Those are phrases that should be PC'd. Pulling the trigger... means what, exactly? You shot something? 99% of the things I've shot at haven't been alive... most are some sort of fused ceramic. What's the offense, again?

As a tournament shooter (trap mostly, sporting clays sometimes), I pull the trigger about 300-500 rounds a month average. Guns are nothing to fear if you learn how to shoot and clean them. My former gf slept with a hunting knife with a 7" blade...I found a lump under my pillow one night (hmm, do miss that woman) and she says "oh, be careful don't cut yourself"...lol. Knives scare me, not guns.
