Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Emo kids ruin biking. I dont do critical mass rides around here anymore because kids in tight jeans and make up have desided to bike around with a load speaker saying "we are bike culture." Pretty much, I dont want to be associated with them.

I really enjoy emo music and have for a while, I probably dont fit the fashion angle though.

(I do like tight jeans though)

BUT BUT BUT..... HIM AND MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE ARE GOOOOOD!!!

When I saw the title, I thought EMO was a type of bicycle...I didn't know it was the label for the current version of teen/20-something angst.

Have you seen this?

Not to go overboard or anything but:

* unless you're a member of The Ramones.
** 2 punches to the face if you think Good Charlotte or My Chemical Romance is punk rock.

I would imagine it's dificult to ride a bike and write self-loathing teenage melodrama poetry at the same time. Or maybe they can get a wireless feed on the webcam. Besides, I would guess they can't wear a helmet or go to fast - might mess up the silly haircut.

Too bad, I didn't even know it existed until today. (Well I knew about the music from sharing rides with some of my younger teammates... )

How come EMOs always serve me Starbuck's coffee? Is there this group of people like to work there?
