Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Looks nice. Although if it were me, I'd trim the excess seatpost.

Kind of hard to see but I added the Black/Blue Arione saddle and it really helps to pick up the blue......not to mention it feels really nice on my nether regions.

Just finished building this:

Mix of 105/ultegra/dura ace - whatever I could find on sale - spent the real money on the frame...

Yep - note the commuter pedals.

Also, got the first 'crap i set the toe cage too tight' scratches on the rear derailler... I was hoping this one would avoid the welcome to the family marks for a while, but oh well.

Here is a picture of the Prodigy frame (very)temporarily perched on the wheels from the Soloist, just to give a taste of things to come...

I absolutely can't wait to have it all built up.

It will be veloce 10sp with an FSA gossamer crankset(off of the soloist...the soloist will be upgraded) and as-yet-to-be-decided wheels.

hope you guys like (and even if you don't, oh well, I do )

^ Mavic Cosmos wheels

^^ Yeah, I wasn't ever really a fan of the all-celeste frames, but adding lots of black to it makes it look pretty good imo

^^^^ I'm definitely not a professional when it comes to building bikes - this being the first real road bike project, I just kinda set them to an angle that looked comfortable, then adjusted a bit after the first ride. Further adjustments might come later, after longer rides, but it's been really smooth and comfortable so far.

I don't know how to post a picture on a forum. 1-800-AM-I-CLULESS? If you can tell me how easy it is I will post a photo of my 2004 blue and white Specialized Allez Comp full Ultegra. It's a steel bike which came with a double but I swapped it out for a compact.

Sweet jeebus! Nice.
I want a Scandium Bianchi. Second the odd bar angle though, plus the odd seat angle. Are you balanced on the bike?

It's aluminum alloyed with scandium. It allows the aluminum to be made with smaller diameter, stronger alloy tubing with better molecular grain structure at the welds. The smaller diameter tubing is supposed to make a light yet compliant aluminum frame.
