He's just a dude with too much time on his hands, and waayyyy too much money.....

I like eclectic - beats confused! Glad it's got you all talking - the reason for building this bike is comfort and purposely not following fashion. I could have gone for carbon everything and just followed the crowd but it's not my thing.
My other bikes have double chainsets (not compacts) and I can climb ok on them - but I'm not too proud to stop myself having a granny ring as a bail-out when it gets really tough. When I go to the Pyrenees I don't climb like a pro and I don't pretend I can. I don't ride 53x11 because I'm not Eddy Merckx.
When I'm doing a big ride I need all the help I can get - there's no point being macho about it. Laugh at my triple - but at least I'm not pretending to be a racehorse then riding like an ass!
Having a triple and a Brooks doesn't automatically make me a tourer - just like having a Madone and full Disco kit wouldn't turn me into Lance Armstrong either. (I really do enjoy passing those sort of guys as they walk up the 25% gradient cobbled climbs wrecking their Nike Hautacams!)
The saddle is the best I've found for very long rides (there's a reason that touring cyclists use them you know!) and the titanium frame is far more comfortable than my aluminium ones.
So here's my question - if you had a good training bike and 2 out-and-out race bikes already and wanted to build a bike with racing geometry for sportives and cycling holidays in mountains what would you build?
Eclectic - "The term comes from the Greek eklektikos: choosing the best."
I've got the best of both worlds for the rides I take it on - comfort of a tourer and the speed of a race bike. Cobbles, cols or coast to coast on one machine.
Still confused?
Incidentally there are some more of us that have done similar things with the same frame here.

And at least you're brave enough to show us yourself all kitted out and not just the bike in the house like the rest of us!

Obsessive Compulsive Poseur
One who obsessive over every little detail...that their sunglasses match their tires match their bar tape match their gloves match their saddle...that their rim tape is symmetrical, regardless of its invisibility...that their bike looks better than it works...that they would rather not ride, less they fudge their impeccable detailing job...
etc. ad nauseum

My first (and only) roadie. Motobecane Grand Record. Tiagra FD, 105 RD.
Weighs in at 24.25 lbs with frame mounted pump, pedals, and cages.
Edit: Pictures from when I JUST got the bike back. I have since moved the seat back and the pump forward. Use your imagination to see what it looks like now!
