Got it Saturday and got a few minutes before dark on it. Need advice for pedals. My riding buddy says LOOK but I like the double sided ease. I had a set of Ritchey spd'd and did nothing but fumble. Should I try a set of LOOK's??

I finally got the chance to ride the Cervelo for more than just around the block: light and stiff but not harsh. I think this could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

I like Look style pedals. They are just as easy as double sided. The rear of the pedal is heavier so it is always in the same position when it's time to clip in. That's my experience anyways. The older style (Look Deltas) are pretty easy to find at a good price.

Thanks! The original owner (I'm its third owner) thought it would look nice with the yellow outlining of the logo's. He was right

I'll be getting rid of a little bit of yellow though, new tires next month, will be going with all black now, as the yellow walls have no useful purpose whatsoever (thought it would give a better idea of tire wear) and it's a bit overdone to my liking. Still not sure whether I will get rid of the yellow strips on the saddle, they screw right off.

Or throw on whatever I don't need and not care because she uses it twice a year. Almost a full centimeter left on the back rail, though you can't see it from that pic.

Contemplating what I want to do with it. Looking for some shallower drop handle bars and a new crank or I'm going to build up an SL2. Decisions decisions.

What can I say, I guess I'm in the mood to skank this bike out tonight. My tri bike's race wheels..

The bike is a Mitcholo, the original maker didn't give me the bike, so I didn't feel like wearing their name all over.

The decals were made by a local sign shop who I've built a relationship with in the past. He put a second Ohio decal on the seat tube where the original maker's badge was. I always trust this guy with my cover-up jobs.

This is my next project. Team Jelly Belly 2009 GT GTR Carbon Pro . This bike was ridden by Jeremy Powers in the 2009 racing season. My daughter met him a couple of times at the Tour of Missouri race and is his biggest fan.
I am going to build it up for her over the next year , just keeping an eye out for a good deal on a component group. Here is a picture of her with her new bike.

That SuperSix is the cat's pajamas. Could not be any nicer looking. I loved those GT Jelly Belly frames the first time I saw one. The future owner of that bike is a lucky young lady.

How tall is your daughter? According to cyclingnews.com, Powers is 5'11", and that frame looks like at least a 54cm, maybe 56cm

Winter training setup w/ cruds, new pedros seatbag, small tailight and pump now mounted towards the side by the bottle cage. I also droped the stem by 1 spacer, I think 5mm but it could have been a 10mm spacer.

Just finished building the Lemond last week. The Madone was a team bike from the Marco Polo Cycling team when they were sponsored by Trek.

I was told it is a 54 cm. But I am not sure how to measure a bike with a solid seat mast like this one and no seatpost Center of crank to center of top tube is 48 cm or 19 inches, Top tube length is 53 cm. She is 13 and rides a 50 cm , I think in a year or two she should be able to ride it , will have to cut the seat mast down a bit I would guess.
