Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Here's my latest build. I decided to go with something different with the 9 speed bar-ends. A total budget build, but I think it turned out pretty well. Just took it out for the first ride tonight. It felt really good.

Sorry for phone pic. Taken earlier today on first proper ride.

Colnago Primavera 2008
Campagnolo Chorus 2009 Groupset
Campagnolo Neutron Wheels
Cinelli Components
Selle San Marco Concor Light

Fun and fast, not as forgiving as my Colnago Master. I think I'm likely to get myself into trouble.

I have posted My Allez here a little while ago, but now that my touring bike is technically a road bike now too. I guess I should post it.

I had that same exact bike, except it had downtube shifters. Pretty good until I sold it to my friend, who's now enjoying it.

[QUOTE=brandenjs;10531637]Here's my latest build. I decided to go with something different with the 9 speed bar-ends. A total budget build, but I think it turned out pretty well. Just took it out for the first ride tonight. It felt really good.

I just took this out for an 18 mile ride. It really felt fast and seemed to climb really well . I know it's not me because I have detrained a little over the winter. I may search for a compact crank with some red highlights to blend a little more.

Those wheels are something different indeed. Looks really nice.

You might want to look into the Pro or BBB product line as they have "wet white" bars, stems and seatposts as well.

yeah I really love the bike, I really think this used little frame as all the power transfer of many of the higher end frames from the established brands. She needs some updating though, I am far to weak to make use of the 52/42, 12-21 gearing.

Two beautiful rides, the Pinarello and the Seven. Although I am still trying to come to terms with the Pinarello forks...

Is that bike as nice to ride as it is to look at? I'm not sure I like the white rims but everything else is very cool.
