Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I'd use Simple Green. Safe and effective.

It is good to remove residues, but I have no experience with removing actual decals or stickers with it.

Just got her home! Happy Birthday to me. Havent figured out the stem length yet. Went from and oversized 58cm Feltz85 to a 54cm Scott CR1 Team. What a difference!

Got fitted yesterday and picked up my bikes today. Both bikes got a few upgrades.

I didn't know a more aggressive position on the Tarmac would actually be more comfortable. Unfortunately to get down lower I need a saddle with a bigger cutout. Not sure I'll keep the SMP yet. Might move over the Romin Evo from my CAAD. Tarmac also go the 3T team components (Red) because the Pro (White) ones were EXACTLY what I needed on the CAAD. Perfect time to upgrade. CAAD also got upped to Ultegra 6700.

I noticed this after the pics. - ****ty Tape install on Tarmac. - Front wheel skewer on CAAD on wrong side. - Forgot to fix saddle tilt when moved seatpost over.

Very nice. Though I might be a bit biased.

Yeah, it's ugly and doesn't look as sexy as my old Toupe but it lets me bend over without pain. If it doesn't work out I'll transfer over the Romin Evo since that works quite well too.

Seatpost takes up 2.25" of rail on the seat so it looks scrunched forward.

I have short arms. I can bend down and get my knuckles on the ground. I could probably do palms if the back of my legs didn't get so tight. I've always used a small stem.

I think that's the Salvador Dali seat design.

personal experimentation trumps "pro" fits so if your curious id mark where that is then test out moving down and back.
