Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Well, I blinged my bike a bit today and picked up a pair of Mavic Ksyrium ES wheels, these should look nice on my red Specialized Tarmac and I hope will help me climb a bit better.

Man, I was going to just for having valve stem caps on there at all. I ended up just rolling the point deduction in with the tubulars.

didn't you point out this was "maximum" bling? If you have a fancy set of race wheels, you should use a fancy set of race tires. No exceptions.

I'll share my secret on looking fast. Ride the MUPs during the week. You have only a handful of overweight older folks on beach cruisers and a few joggers, so you are certain to pass everyone so you feel as fast as you look.

NOTE: I'm not stating this I'm asking this.....

Can an American brand be blingy???? If Trek is not blingy can any Cervelo or Giant be blingy? Does the components make a bike blingy or the wheels if the frame is not.....? Does a Euro frame = blingy even if it's made in the far east? ........
