Why not cycle to the start instead of driving? I can't say I'd be all that excited about driving in France.

She gave the thumbs up to build a home workshop on the back of our new house and the contractors finished it last Saturday just in time for me to get it somewhat set up in time for Christmas. Tonight she handed me an envelope with a $500 certificate to use towards a paint job for the Colnago resto I'm working on(it's the white Arabesque hanging beside the Merckx). She's the absolute best and is obviously very supportive of my "habit".
Still have tons of boxes to unload, parts to organize and tools to hang but damn oh damn am I a very happy man. Merry Christmas to me!!!!!!

I'm a noob here so forgive me......what does "flip it" mean.......I'm assuming you're talking about the 8 degree positive stem???? ... Flip it as in make it a "negative" 8 degree slant?... actually that one is a bit long and I'll be changing it out with one that's only 6, so it may look a little better as well as fitting me correctly.
I know the "Gerolsteiner" saddle is OCP....I'm changing out the bar tape to a light blue to match the seat and I also have some Gerolsteiner pedals on it ...... You'll get some OCP pics when I get around to putting the tape on, but I think the bike will look pretty cool when I get finished with it and I'm a "Fred" so everything's ok. .... When I get tired of the look, I'll go to something else that amuses me, or maybe I'll just build or buy another one.......I really enjoy being a Fred.
