Well, they weren't wrong. I'd say there are other issues than that, but I won't go into it.

LOL, close but no cigar. Has all the boxes ticked off, but doesn't execute.

I like that pinarello a lot, I think the aluminum brake tracks and garmin mount are detracting from the HOTNESS level. Colorway is sweet.

The one in my post is his. He deleted the original post, but I used the power of the internet to resurrect the photo.

thanks :thumb:

This is a century/weekend warrior machine. I took it out on 70miles last saturday's club ride, it rode fast and got allot of comments from my team mates. This Sunday I plan to do my Century a month challenge on this bike. Fit is similar to my Felt F4 so I don't see too much issue in 5+ hour rides. Biggest thing is ergo change from SRAM to Shimano hoods and angles.

I still need to see if I can fit 28c tires into the frame.

Incorrect, but thanks for playing.

What is that? Whatever it is, it simultaneously has and lacks vision. See what I did there?

Its been almost 3 years since I've ridden; looking forward to Sunday's ride and hoping the Storck was worth building up.

What bars are those? Maybe its just the angle, but the curve looks odd.

primov8 08-26-17 06:09 AM

The handlebar is a 3T Tornova; ergo tops from the Ergonova with traditional drops from the Rotundo.

Are the skewers actually pink, or a faded red? A friend has been looking for pink skewers for quite some time.

primov8 08-26-17 07:56 AM

The Ti skewers have a pink anodized finish and I bought them from Amazon.

Now that I've just about got this sorted out to what I want, I'll throw it out here too.

Let me have it! ;)

Bars have kind of an odd retro shape, but otherwise very hot.

Hot-ish, but those bars look like they were shaped by a kindergartener.

Campag4life 08-27-17 06:12 AM

Uncanny how two consecutive bikes posted in the Hot r' Not thread have 90's bar shape. Modern bars with flat transition to the hoods are so much more comfortable.

I really love how yours looks. I don't know what makes it hot or not hot, so I won't use the term hot, but I LOVE it's look. Now, here's mine.

Nice mtb

laf 08-27-17 09:33 AM

After 1000 pages, the topic should be resumed in some points.

-Bags destroy the look of the bike.
-Retro bikes are so ugly. Its like old muscle cars owners that think their car is hot. Its not. At least the majority of them.
-Big frames are also ugly. They just look weird.

:):):)

LOL, no argument there. But when you ride around 20 different bikes it get's pretty expensive trying to put your favorite bars on them. I normally just deal with the shape if the width is OK and the drop isn't too large.

^ 0/10. There is nothing hot about a bike that's too small to see.

Here goes nothing, freshly built. Still messing with seat height but that's pretty close to where it will be, maybe slightly higher.
Also, debating on what stickers to use, if any. Leaning towards the black (a bit more understated).

In my haste I forgot to line up the stems. Please forgive me!
