they still should be totally excessable from the drops if they were up higher as well. thats one of the nice things about sram is that you can pull the shift lever in while in the drops and it only takes a very small movement to shift up or down from there.
dont be afraid to try new things with your fit. you might be supprised at how well something else works. I'm used to double sided entry on pedals lol sothe Looks are taking some getting used to but not a big problem at all. Its kind of like when you first learn to drive a stick...you fumble to get moving lol |

It takes a 'real' man to train on a brakeless bike.:thumb: |
One with bad fashion taste. That bike looks quite ugly with the red....

http://www.hucknroll.com/images/item...CUT0109/BK.jpg http://www.hucknroll.com/images/item...0109/BK_D1.jpg as for the brake levers.. in the 80s they would make the drops level with the ground, but i like the tops level instead, which tilts everything up. The way i set the brakes on my bikes is to align the bottom of the brake lever to be in line with the bottom of the drops (i hold a ruler to the underside of the drop bar). i think if i lowered the brakes it would look worse.. and it would definitely not be as comfortable. and the bike is staying green  |
