In general I would say that for the Hot or Not thread to take the seat bag off the bike for the picture even if you use one all the time. There is something that is so un-sexy about seat bags. For me anyways, its like see a girl in Ugg boots.

I appreciate the comments. :) After almost 4 years, the bike is still my benchmark for overall fit, comfort, and handling. Too bad it isn't as light as my new SuperSix. ;) |
Lots of freaking hotness on this page. That C'dale kills it. Big fan, very well done. I say this, and I am not particularly a C'dale fan.

Love that time... it doesn't look like it has ever been ridden.

nice time, and very nice house.....damn
|
Holy crap that is one nice TIME. Did you rent the house to just take pictures or what?
|
Couple of answers:
1. XXS - yes I'm short, 5' 5" or so. I needed a 51.5 TT length, XXS it is for TIME. 2. Spacers removed - right now I'm comfortable on the bike, I ride long distances mostly. This Sunday I rode 75 miles on a whim for fun. So I'm slowly removing the spacers as I get more flexible :) 3. I wish this was my house, but it is actually the office I work in. :) |
|
I'm still looking for the "Not", can someone please throw-up a crappy bike just to make this thread legit?

As noted, you could do a couple of small thing to increase the "hotness" of this bike. Regardless, it is hot -- especially because you built is so meticulously. Also, the photography is very well done. A few tips to make it even better:
Your lucky to have such a great location and lighting to shoot your bike. Well done! Enjoy the bike. Oh, and the only "lug" (if you can really call it that) is where the mono-stay goes into the seat cluster, just like most modern bikes. Also, there are plenty of new and hot frames that still have external cable runs. Still my personal preference for maintenance and shifting and braking performance. |

Internal cables are gimmicky. I hate rerunning new cables in my cervelo. It's a total pain in the ass in comparison to an externally routed bike.
