Going with FSA SL-K bar and stem. As for shifters, Campagnolo Ultra-Shift's.

Gonna be gorgeous, though the teal/blue on the crank is gong to be very distracting to the rest of the bike. ;) White bar tape?

X-LinkedRider 02-24-12 09:05 AM

Guess I can repost the Allez in here since it got Carbon cages, and new pedals. The camera wasn't level so the positioning looks weird.

Oh, I get jokes... because his camera's white balance didn't compensate for the LED flash on his camera? That crank isn't teal/blue. It's white.

Haha, no there is a protective film over the crank arm which I haven't removed yet. I have black/red bar tape sitting here, but I might go with white once the bike is completely assembled.

Got ya. I am always a sucker for trick photography! Without any of the Blue, that bike will be Smoking!

positive saddle-to-bar drop, flat bars, lights, what looks like some kind of saddle bag on the side, mismatched wheels...

definite NOT! where are the real bikes?

Also if you could see the other side you should see chain on the large cog on the rear and on the small chainring in the front. And of course a bike stand is always a no no.

Thanks a bunch! What's wrong with my bag? Gotta have a place for stuff. Is it the way it's angled down? Or should I have taken it off for the pictures?

No, this is the thread where we tell you "close, but no cigar".

i would say that to you face to face. and i would not say "yes sir, no sir". because i don't speak like that. i was never in the military. thus i only call somebody "sir" if i actually respect them. i am not intimidated by threat of violence from some guy that thinks he's a BA because he was in the marines. you can beat me up. good for you. you're the big man. blah blah. i don't care. i don't take part in such behavior.

Well, the Medici is hot but poorly staged. You must be like 6' 6"?

motrheadsroadie 02-24-12 11:41 PM

6'4. close enough. poorly staged? please advise.

As well as UCI and Whoosh... Are now on trial for the murder of this thread, which is a damn shame, cause it's all the same people that helped make this thread any good to begin with. (BIKE FORUMS, not Biggest Gas Guzzler, smallest penis, look how many other forums I belong too, and oh yeah-I'm tougher than you forums) This is how credibility is lost in this thread. Not a bike next to a garbage can. But bikes owned by garbage individuals. Stay on topic boys, none of you are acting like men right now. (wkg at least shares this sentiment it sounds like.) Before I am accused of being unpatriotic or something, I am sitting next to two troop coins you couldn't get even if you reached the top of your enlisted service. What we have done in the past doesn't make a difference right now, it's what we do with our present and future that matters. Bicycle talk, retreat to the tough guy, HOG, HD, Gas Guzzler forums to continue this...

In the meantime, that Medici has so much beauty on it kind of covered up with other stuff. Parts of that bike like the drive train/stays look amazing but the wheels, tire and toolbag really ruin the picture for me. 'Should Be' Hot!

adriano 02-25-12 08:49 AM

this thread was quite adolescent to begin with.
