Sarto could be hot with different wheels. But it isn't now.

That's because this is a thread for hot bikes. Not many Treks qualify. :)

Is this yours? Couldn't find much info on it, looks like a Chinarello. Tell us more?
I bought the Dura-Ace piece-meal and the total cost of the build was around $2300 so I'm pretty happy with the final result and performance...:) |

The only other thing I don't like is the seatpost. The white stripes on it take away from the overall appearance. |
yeah that stem is an eyesore to look at. agree with seatpost also.
sorry, I say Not HOT, but its still a nice bike |
Absolutely HOT on the Roubaix given the aforementioned stem flip. Seatpost is a detail which should be addressed but overall minor consideration. Well done! I bet it's a dream for a century ride...

Other than the stem definitely HOT! I know in the real world it probably fits best with the stem the way it is. However, in the hot or not thread what fits doesn't matter, it's all about looks. FLIP IT!!!!! :D

The seatpost is an S Works I picked up on eBay. May replace it with a Cobl Goblr if they ever are actually available, or a Fizik Cyrano would eliminate the white, and go well with the Antares 00 saddle. Frame is also Di2 capable, so who knows what may happen someday with that. Other than that, I'm finding it to be an incredible bike. My Seven is feeling a little neglected. Oh, the crank slipped a little, and wasn't properly aligned with the chain stay. That's another 5 point deduction from the Eastern European judge, right? |

It is a Chinese frame, indeed although I've been told that it resembles more a Canondale than a Pinarello. I wasn't thinking about getting something that could pass for the real thing; I just liked the frame. As for the components, it has full Dura-ace 7900 including the pedals, chain and BB, SLK seatpost, FSA carbon handlebars and OS-99 carbon stem, Fizik Aliante saddle and bar tape. I added a Cateye Strada double wireless computer; the wheels are American Classic Sprint 350, 32H and they are very light and strong and they spin longer than anything else I have seen_ I routinely pass people that are pedalling downhill while I am just coasting.

Great to see a rarer bike, especially one like a Sarto! Cheers! :thumb: The rovigo is a a Columbus Brain leftover 30 years old. It was ordered by a racing team in Spain that closed down before taking delivery of the frames. I found them in the basement, and I had the idea to offer them as a vintage frame. |

I can't explain why but I really like those November frames. Rotate the crank a bit and line up the valve stems and I'll give you a hot. :)

I can overlook the stem and seatpost and appreciate the Roubaix for the overall package. Hot!
