LC's Colnago is one of the few that doesn't have overdone gaudy paint. I like it a lot, and consider it hot, but it would look better if the bartape matched the saddle. It's in the rules for crying out loud.

Thank you. If my saddle ever falls apart I may replace it with a white one. I've been riding that saddle for six or seven years now, it works perfect for me.

Colnago = HOT

Hot! Staged in the wrong gear, but having a non-Shimano crank on an otherwise Shimano equipped bike nets bonus points that make up for it. Black chainrings would make it even better. Well done.

Personally, I'd install black chainrings and complete the sram group. But the SDVs and the clean November frameset does it for me. Definitely HOT.

Updated photo of my Crumpton SL.

fa63 05-28-12 02:34 PM

Hot, of course.

One minor suggestion, though: how about a matte black seatpost and stem, like Enve?

coppercook62 05-28-12 02:37 PM

Didnt know they made a matte black thanks:thumb:

Crumpton = phwoar!

Soloist Assassin 05-28-12 03:17 PM

Wow, I don't want to go anywhere near close to the Crumpton. Do you have to wear nomex clothing to ride that thing?

coppercook62 05-28-12 03:22 PM

Your bike is smoking as well

Thanks, but mine is nowhere close to yours. What's the weight on that beauty, and is your battery internal? I think you may have the hottest bike on BF. Congratulations sir. Normally I would complain about the staging, but that doesn't apply here.

ilovecycling 05-28-12 03:38 PM

White Lightweight logos would make that Crumpton super hot. No need to change the seat post because the Deda logos would be tied in. Could use a Deda zero100 Servizio corse stem to match though. Nice ride either way.

coppercook62 05-28-12 03:50 PM

6.23 kilos atm. I have Fibulia brakes on order so I think I can drop it another 170-180 grams with lighter cables. I would love to get it under 6 kilos.no its mounted on the downtube. If you look hard you can see it behind the crank.

Oic. Sub 6 would be awesome with Di2. I disagree with the comment about the LW logos. They look great as is. If I would change anything, it would be a Calfee Bar-Stem, and a Berk SLR Post Combo, with a Calfee internal battery. All of that is totally unnecessary, but would make it perfect in my opinion, not to mention totally custom, and most likely sub 5888g, or 13lbs. The battery is pretty well hidden as it.

Thank you. Your's is amazing!

Thanks Folks!

Agree on some dark chainrings, but I have to say, what's on there shifts pretty nice. I really didn't want to post a pic till I knew it raced well, which it does. Being used to Shimano shifting is why I went with it, and at my old age, old habits are hard to change. I did go with Sram Red/Black brakes.

It corners on a rail, and is far more stable than my Ridley. It rides smooth, but seems to jump nicely. The fellow in Denver that built it up for me stated the quality was first rate, and as I wipe it down, and I study it, I agree. I consider myself lucky finding out about November bikes, and Dave and Mike were awesome to deal with.

I'm just fortunate to have something to post up here with all your gorgeous bikes.
