Hot. Black pedals would finish it off. But other than that, super hot. I love these Giant frames, my buddy has 2 and I used to ride his spare quite often. Fantastic bikes.

This does look like a nice score and great study in black and white. I am not a fan of those handle bars and stem and a 3T stem and bar would be great looking and perhaps more comfortable, but that's just me.

abstractform20 05-26-12 01:47 AM

the seatpost kills the bike...new fork looks a little too light. still a nice bike, but was more beautiful before...and sram looks badass on that bike.

I rather like most everything about this rebuild and applaud the owner. I do find the range of comments from, "hate the SRAM, to looks badass with SRAM" to by really hysterical.

Yep - still playing around with the fit. Just switched out for a longer stem today.

One of the nicest Giants I've seen! Very well put together. Perfect choice of parts for function and aesthetics. Now go ride the heck out of it!

Mansram01 05-26-12 08:44 AM

Very nice looking Giant indeed. All the parts go well together. I can't tell from the pic but is that a SRAM Red/Force combo?

ravenmore 05-26-12 08:46 AM

Giant is hot although points deducted for the chain not in the big ring. ;)

alexaschwanden 05-26-12 09:59 AM

Cool Giant, I like the wheels.

Thanks - the stem is a Giant Contact SLR

NWS Alpine 05-26-12 10:29 AM

I really like the subtle design of the Giant in that color. Really nice.

Sexy!!!

I never knew the BB on the TCR's were BB30.
I think I found my next project... :D

Mayday328 05-26-12 11:05 AM

TCR's use a pressfit bearing with 24mm spindle diameter. That is just a GXP Red crank.

Deleted the low quality picture from Photobucket, so no more picture. New picture on pg. 337.

LowCel 05-27-12 10:26 AM

Been a while since I posted this one. Made a few changes and put a little over 6,000 miles on it.

Thanks, still can't tell that it was used. :D

Love the Colnago. Hawt! I know some people don't like the black saddle/white tape combo. I do for one. Great photos, great components, really like the colors. It's nice too not to see the same 'ol garage door photos too. Get the 2012 SRAM Red front derailleur. ;)

Thank you. Ultegra front derailleur / chain catcher works perfect. If I manage to break it I may go for the new Red though.
