Strangely hot, get those stickers off the wheels though. Good choice on purple.

I have the same Boyd ghost lettering on my wheels and you really have to look at them from the right angle to actually see the name.

The bike would be hotter if you put it into the fireplace... sorry.

I don't have a white garage door to park it in front of, so a white wall will have to do.

Gag me with a spoon!

Why does my bike keep coming up here? I didn't post it. Someone else decided to for me, and that picture is quite old as it looks quite different right now.

Whoa that felt....

Hurts my brain.

I clearly don't fit in here. I like the Felt a lot more than a lot of the C&V bikes here with ugly frame pumps, etc. that are declared HOT.

I don't recall posting my bike in this thread recently. Did I?

It appears as though I have posted it here back at the end of March. http://www.bikeforums.net/18654055-post22211.html

Do we really want to argue "what is a road bike" again?

Haha, I figured I'd post it to lighten the mood a bit and maybe rustle some feathers. Wasn't expecting admiration!

+1, disgusting.

After seeing your Santa Cruz, I don't think you should be passing judgments on anyone's bikes.

The Venge is well beyond hot, it's on a different level.

The Allez needs a Zipp cockpit and Red mechanical...:thumb:

Thanks for saving this thread!

Whoa whoa whoa! Easy killer.

Haha, seriously though, both bikes are great. I was never much a fan of zebra print, but that bike just changed my mind.

Maxacceleration 12-10-16 06:50 PM

Just say no to Zebra stripes... Miss. Black forks & white bar tape might save it.
The Venge stem reminds me of the Humpback from Notre Dame. Too much aero for visual appeal.
Both great bikes overall though, in all their moderness.

I was thinking that the zebra actually works on the bike, but it needs black tires. Visually just too much going on.

TimothyH 12-10-16 09:04 PM

The zebra stripes are just gaudy. Looks like a hooker dressed for work. It's a shame because the iridescent purple has lots of potential.

The Venge always looked like it was trying too hard, like a woman with too much eye makeup. Not my cup of tea at all. I prefer the Ivory Girl.

If I was in charge of Specialized, the first thing I would do is call Robert Egger into my office.

A very hot hooker.

AristoNYC 12-10-16 09:49 PM

The Allez is nice. I think it looks good, but I'm weird.

noodle soup 12-10-16 10:24 PM

Both are pricey, but ugly.

$$$$, does not equal "hot".
