Hot (for a little person's bike ;) ) and impressively light as outfitted.

HAWT! Can you please give feed back on the Pioneer system? :thumb:

Other than the tires being lined up differently to the wheels and the busy lettering on the wheel tire combo, I think this bike is HOT! I like the way the black bottle cages almost disappear. A really good looking little combo (pun intended).

Yeah I'm not fond of busy lettering on the Michelin tires either. Maybe i'll sharpie them

Love the unit! Only limitation is my Garmin only shows overall watts instead of R & L which is available with their own unit.

I still don't care for the 9100 series DA components appearance, but I'm sure it'll grow on me like the 9000 series did.

nice looking ride, but that front tire needs to get the labels lined up with the valve stems.

I can't look at it without seeing a mutated version of my TCX. :(
Must be the color.
Also, I'm afraid HOT is a visual thing: specs aren't enough, and as much as I usually like Giant designs, this doesn't spark. Nice, though.

This Giant does look pretty hot, especially with the Chinese Red paint. I do wish that Giant would revise their graphics for their name. But that said, this bike is really sharp looking with the black and red contrast. Nice job!

robbyville 01-25-18 09:42 AM

I like the Giant a lot. Only thing that strikes me poorly is the black on the integrated seat mast. For some reason it looks like you've got a mini pump strapped to the front of it or something lol. I rock a fairly small frame and have always found the requisite sloping top tube offputting, but I've gotten used to it now. My new frame which is custom still has a slope but only 3 degrees so it's barely noticeable.

Great looking bike, must be a dream to ride, be safe!

Had a chance to shoot a better photo with a better camera/lens. Also I sharpied out some ugly white lettering on the Michelin tires :D

6/10

frame is nice but

-rim is ridiculously over-graphic'ed
-pioneer pm should be black
-too many colors everywhere... why a bit of yellow on saddle rail?
-mountain bike looking stem

Why'd you have to go and say that? :(

It's like finding Waldo. Once you've seen it you can't unsee it. lol

Glad to know its not just me. Really have to wonder what they were thinking...

allonsy 01-26-18 11:40 AM

It took me several seconds to process that it was a Giant brand bike.

I thought it was a Chinese carbon knockoff Gee-kwoh.

Dang that’s neat but is it the pioneer power meter? I can’t remember your last iteration

mackgoo 01-26-18 07:18 PM

What are you doing to that poor derailleur?

Yup, Pioneer and new Pirelli PZero Velo TTs. Rides like a rocket.

I know... Didn't realize it until I was looking at the pics later today. Need to put a new chain soon.
