OK I'm ready for assault, since this doesn't really belong here but here it is with road 23c tires:

And here is what I built it for with the 40C's tires:

My ex-gf had a sex toy that exact colour so I'll give both versions a 'hot'

Hot response.

Whats wrong with the tires?

Yeah many people unfortunately think like you and miss out on these amazing Bora Ultra wheels. They were not made for only Campy drivetrain. I don't understand limiting yourself and trying to match brands. And I would take Japanese Di2 electronics over Italian EPS electronics, any day, all day! Perfect match!

They are not lined up with the valves

It's seasonal, so I'll allow it's hot-ish, but that bar tape is atrocious.

Almost as bad as the bars. Either the angle or the curve of them, but holy hell those are ugly. Doing 0 for the bike, which aside from those two items, isn't bad. Only other issue I see is that stem. Dang that is ugly.

seau grateau 01-17-18 10:25 PM

Is that even a road bike?

I was going for something that would keep clean since this bike will be seeing a lot more mud and dirt. There was a great deal online so I didn’t see it better in person before buying it, but I agree and I am not a big fan of it.

Thanks. Bar and stem were rescued off of two bikes now and are past their time. That ugly bend in the drops does allow for a much more comfortable grip in the drops though. But yes bars, stem since it’s the older thinner bars, and bar tape are the next project.

the seatpost and saddle looks a bit down-market imo. rest is superb

Bars, stem, and post are Cannondale C2 with the white lettering removed and only the silver "Cannondale" remains; a zero SB post is possibly in my future once the fit transfer is done. Yeah, I wish I didn't have to run a Spesh saddle, but that's what the pelvis wants.

Grubby bar tape, not ready to ride (brakes open, pedals?), cross chained, and it just looks ALL crooked - a graphics train-wreck. You should know better - no, you should be ashamed.
NOT

I'll add: Two different wheels and the saddle looks like a ski slope. :(

If it were me I would do black bar tape and not use that pink and call it a day. Gum walls look fine but all black wheels/tires are even better imo.

This is making me want to buy a lighter new road bike in white (love white cars as well). Had to post cause of the inspiration I'm getting from your bike. HOT :thumb:

I’d throw some pedals on it and ride. Needs some work but hot.

LOL, oh it'll be ridden plenty. It's just winter now and none of my good bikes get exposed to the harsh winter road chemicals. Once the spring rains have cleaned the roads the good steel will get back on them.

I do like the looks of the Cannondale. Please rotate those bars forward or down a little bit. Pointed up like that looks not so cool. I would not mind the blue on the bar tape if the hubs were also blue but the pink seems out of place. Oh yea, swap out that Shimano group for some Campy...

the bars are fine, but the levers are mounted a tiny bit too high.

At least he doesn't have SRAM wiped all over it.
