Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Perp, nice bike. Two comments:
1. Cut that steerer tube so you don't bust your balls
2. Level out that saddle so your balls keep working.

Plus you will only have them until you are married.

A little angle is ok (-3-4 degrees) but any more than that is not advisable.

I used a level on the middle part of the saddle - which way do you think it should go? I've done several century rides/races on it and been fine.
I'm always weary of cutting steer tube - mostly for re-sale. Slammed stem won't fit everyone (and I'm bound to get bored of the frame and get a new one lol)

Was thinking of the blue hosing as well - just wanted to verify that it won't look terrible!

The saddle on that S-Works is definitely a little nose down, but the bike is not level in the picture. PRO points subtracted for carbon clinchers and compact crank, but the fit looks good. The bar wrapping job is not the greatest either, but the black tape and saddle and classic bend bars are definite plusses.

I give it a hot, though it could be better.

I love the paint on that S-Works, but I think colored housing would look like it's "trying too hard" for a coordinated look. Black would be best IMO. Definitely need to re-wrap the bars and save up for some full carbon hoops.

Also a KMC dlc chain would really set off your blacked out crankset.

Good eyes! I put the level on the flat part of the nose and it is indeed tilted down a bit. I'll move it up till it's level.

Crank is almost standard - 52/36. It's my "hilly" bike. My Cervelo S2 (pics posted earlier in this thread) is for my "fast" rides (not that I'm very fast).
Wrap is temp, I have lizard skins to put on when I get my new cables - I had white bar tape and white saddle and changed to all black and I found some cheap black tape.

Full carbon wheels only when I start to do decent in races. I rarely use the wheels in the pic, my everyday wheels are Psimet built wheels. Some kind of power meter is on my next big purchase.

Hmm, I just think black is so boring for cables, want a little bit of colour, but not tacky. Either try to blue or go white...

Last time I had a black chain, the paint rubbed off so quick, it was quickly silver again.

Not usually a very big C'dale fan, but that's a sweet bike. Very nice.
