Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Is it socially acceptable to see a bike, and then want to cry because how nice it looks?
No?
Crap.

I would like to see it with black tape, black pedals and de-stickered rims.I think the frame would then standout more rather than getting lost in all of the back and forth color changes.

I like it better. With that one change my eye was drawn more to the frame rather than bouncing all around the bike.

Just washed it and had to take a pic, too bad it came out blurry but I'm sure you get the idea of it. I have a racing seat that isn't comfortable so the one on there is just temporary, and new mavic pedals.

Yeah I mean I don't even see a shadow of anything holding it up. If it's Photoshop it was a GOOD Photoshop job.

Ya, the blue doesn't go well. It would be hotter if I kept the black/green frame (revenio 3.0 original) but all the sizes were to small for me.

some new wheels. Yes, I forgot to line up the valve stems. Yes I know the bar/lever angle is a bit off, those Criterium bars are tricky to get comfy with ergolevers. Yes, I'm really tall.

I don't see anything that would point to it being shopped. I think it's the ol' balance-the-bike-let-it-go-hurry-and-snap-the-pic-and-grab-it-before-it-falls method.

Whoa thanks for all the love.

Bike is held up with a stick and shopped out.

Wheels are Reynolds Forty Six tubies.

Weight without cages and pedals is 13.27 lbs.
Not bad for a sturdy build that I have no problems mashing on everyday.
