I think it has too much going on. It all matches but I think less would be more on this bike. Multiple red, white, black transitions on the frame. Large writing on both the rims and the tires. White outline on the chainring, crank stem, seat post, accents on the seat. White pedals and white tape.
I would like to see it with black tape, black pedals and de-stickered rims.I think the frame would then standout more rather than getting lost in all of the back and forth color changes. +3 |

Just washed it and had to take a pic, too bad it came out blurry but I'm sure you get the idea of it. I have a racing seat that isn't comfortable so the one on there is just temporary, and new mavic pedals.

Functional, but definitely not hot.

some new wheels. Yes, I forgot to line up the valve stems. Yes I know the bar/lever angle is a bit off, those Criterium bars are tricky to get comfy with ergolevers. Yes, I'm really tall.

Hot.
Thanks for the saddle.

Yeah I mean I don't even see a shadow of anything holding it up. If it's Photoshop it was a GOOD Photoshop job.

Whoa thanks for all the love.
Bike is held up with a stick and shopped out. Wheels are Reynolds Forty Six tubies. Weight without cages and pedals is 13.27 lbs. Not bad for a sturdy build that I have no problems mashing on everyday. |

Pretty good 'Shop there I have to say :)
May I ask how much you have into it? If you don't care to share that's cool. It will likely just reinforce the fact that I'll never be able to afford something like that anyway lol :p |
ah well that ain't bad considering the caliber of bike it appears to be. Still more than I can afford, pal (slight F&F movie reference lol) :P

https://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphot...19823246_o.jpg Deda makes a silver post (RS 01) with some setback and a two bolt design, so you could stick with the Italian theme if you're not into the VO or Ritchey Classic options. http://www.tokyofixedgear.com/eCommI...0000035509.jpg From the waist down a very hot bike. Those wheels are the business. |

Very close. In addition to the bar/lever setup the setback Thomson post looks off with the rest of the build.

Those wheels are the business. That Cinelli is hot as is, but just a "proper" setback post (and perhaps black saddle and bar tape) from smokin' hot. I love those H Plus Son's on that bike. Super classy build :thumb: |

http://i1145.photobucket.com/albums/...ps14bd523f.jpg My vote is to go with red or black cables, level the saddle out, and go with black tires. That would get you closer to "hot" Still, it's a nice bike ;) |
I like the white saddle and tape on the Cinelli, but the seatpost has to go. I recommend the Nitto 686. I have one on my vintage bike, and it is a work of art with a great single bolt clamp. Also, the bars look to be in the right position, but the levers need to be moved up to make the hoods level.

List of components & links to where they can be purchased so cheaply - so I can build one, please. |
