Saddle bag, small ring, cadence sensor with erection, angle of the picture, angle of your bike all contributes to it being a not

I would have to agree. It's not hot until you address the the picture.

remove the saddle bag. Big ring (I can forgive this), angle of picture. Looks like its going uphill and a dead on straight shot would be recommended. That's now the second time I've seen someone install their cadence sensor wrong. Does it not fit the other way? And how did you cut the zip ties holding it down? I see 2 long pieces of plastic in the area where it looks like its holding down the cadence sensor.

OK, I have no idea what his chain stays look like but for MY BIKE there is no way to get the cadence sensor working with the little lever "down". I assume there are more bikes with the same issue.

If it weren't meant to be adjustable it wouldn't be able to move. If you want to flip it down for a picture... uh, fine.

Carry on.

like this:

but don't worry....mine has morningwood too.

Then flip it up as I do with my Cateye Double Wireless. Works just fine.

I have had a bike where the cadence/speed sensor had to be set up that way. With the arm down, if I angled the sensor away from the wheel to provide enough clearance to the wheel magnet, the sensor hit the crank arm magnet. Only happened on one bike so far, but as far as I could figure at the time, the senor arm had to be up to get the appropriate clearance.

bianchi10 02-13-13 08:37 AM

What bothers you about them?

Sidney Porter 02-13-13 08:57 AM

The handle bars on the cannondale looks fine to me the levers are level with the bottoms of the bars. I always thought that was the way to set them up. That being said it seems with the newer handlebar shape / brifters people seem to have the levers higher.

Cleave 02-13-13 09:16 AM

Maybe it's my perception of the photo but it looks like the bottom of the are pointed slightly up instead of level or slightly down.

bianchi10 02-13-13 09:25 AM

I wonder if it is because of the top tube that has a slight angle? Ill have to double check them, I like the drops completely level

Well... I point mine at the rear brake, so bars are a bit tipped up. Of course, my bike is hardly performance art.

NWS Alpine 02-13-13 10:37 AM

With my Zipp SL bars the tops are level but the drops angle slightly down. Overall they point slightly over the rear brake. It feels good this way as I am seated in the drops a lot due to the winds here.

jtwilson 02-13-13 10:39 AM

For compact bars, I point drops at rear brake like the Neil Pryde and Allez above. On traditional bars I usually aim a little lower than the rear brake. Ergo bars seem to have a wide variety of angles, and I agree that Bianchi10's should be level - I'm thinking it's possibly the bike stand elevating the rear wheel slightly that makes them look 'off'.

bianchi10 02-13-13 10:42 AM

I just checked with a level and my drops are straight on level
