Hi, only pointed out what I was perceiving because this is the Hot-r-Not thread. Function and ergonomics are secondary here. ;) Obviously, I need to recalibrate my eyeballs. bianchi10, thanks for being as OCD as I am. :D

Just brought the Parlee home today, no time for outdoor shot so you will have to bare with my kid infested home. Times like this I wish I still had my fill flashes and reflector panels but I did as best I could with equipment I had. Once the weather gets better I will do some outdoor shots.

http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=299280 the 9000 crankset is ugly on its own, but on a frame, I like it better than 7900. |

I think I would have rather seen a black saddle but I still give it a hot.

That S-Works is most definitely hot! The quarq on the S-Works crankset is very appealing
|
Whenever I see "S-Works," I'm always imagining Sean Connery saying "I'll take sworks for $400, Trebek"
|
Parlee hot, picture not!
S-works smoking hot! RaceVW, I think the Secteur is a lovely bike, but for the purposes of this thread not so much. That smart phone holder, yucksville, and that saddle woof! I jest, use whatever is comfortable and functional but remove them from the pics :) |

The S-Works ... waaaaay too much white lettering. It looks like a rolling billboard. Tone it down by removing the wheel decals. May be an all white seat. NOT ... yet.

My general rule of thumb for this thread is this - if I saw a particular bike at Peets on a Saturday before the fast group would I do a double take to check it out. If so...probably hot. In the case of the secteur my thought would be - 'this guy with the disc brakes better not knock over my bike before this ride starts' not hot. |

Some things you need to change: Flip the stem Slam the stem New Saddle and level it Fix your cables Get some clipless pedals Get rid of the fred phone mount Remove the dork disk asap Things you did right: Valve stems lined up Tire labels lined up Chain is in the big ring bars are set level |
