Hey, if you're not interested in seeing more beauty around you, don't blame me for trying to help you.

I can accept you don't like the looks of my bike, dude. Not a problem.

By the way, 32h wheels are hot:

Old-school wheels on a modern bike is arse-about, in my book. But then from a sample size of two, I'm not enjoying much consensus.

Former race frame turned rain / pit bike. Can fenders and old components be hot?

I think it's a pretty hot rain bike.

Kimmo 02-22-13 08:59 PM

Damn! Sweet.

Im sorry but that's a not for me. I think it has potential, but here are my problems.

white front fork matches nothing else on the bike.
red graphics on wheel also matches nothing else on the bike.
I'm not a fan of fenders and I understand why people use them, but take a picture with them off and put them back on afterwards. They don't scream hot.

Kimmo 02-22-13 11:04 PM

Also your gears go too low. Wear a tighter cassette for the photo shoot.

:p

Is that a 12-28? 25 cog max acceptable in this thread :) HOT

Points off for the bar tape gap.

I really hate that font too, but otherwise a hot bike.

I'm going with yes in this case.

No, but it might be hot.

Boring 32hs and plain welds on an ally frame = hot?

I guess I'm never gonna understand this game.

Yeah, the wheels don't match, but they look similar enough for me, and each one has some pretty cool gearhead features (love the Shimano design, and I dig the super-close hub flanges and milled rim on the A-Class). Plus, as you can tell from the brakes, I also dig front/rear specific spec. And the bike's a bitsa anyway.

Makes me feel like I'd shoot off the front end, except the toe straps would keep me just hanging over the handlebars....

The caad 9 needs to lose the wheel stickers.

It's my winter / rain bike. The fork is the stock C-dale one, and is the same color as the head tube/front of the bike. I'll take the fenders off and use it as a pit bike for crits this summer. I was just posting for the sake of moving back to bike pictures. Here it is as is was before being retired from primary race bike duty.

Angle? Bike is very hot, fork still bothers me but very very minor. If that's your winter/rain bike, would love to see your regular bike.

It's not like my race bike anymore. New team frame (from some number of pages back). I was going to sell the C9, but decided on n+1 for a rain/pit bike.

Oh yeah I remember... Hot.

How many wheel sets do you have? What brand are those?

+1, when it fits right, your hands should not have much weight on them.

Relax Kimmo, its all personal opinion anyway. I think this bike is much hotter than a lot of other ones I've seen get the 'hot' vote in this thread. And I am one of those guys that has huge favoritism toward the lastest and greatest. Nice ride

I know I think differently to a lot of folks, but I was pretty sure I didn't think that differently :)
