The Altamira is hot. My favorite Altamira has that retro brown color paint job, but that one is excellent. Inspires me to get my black '05 Team Issue built up. Bought some bars for it today.

A big smokin pipe Hot Love the color's and sum of parts, wouldn't change anything.

I was thinking of eventually switching it out for a white saddle but now that its all built up I'm pretty happy with how it looks.

Dont get me wrong, it looks darn good as is. I just can't help but wonder what a white saddle would look like on it.

Nice build. Classic Italian frame with Italian group and wheels. Nice staging too.

But for me, NOT HOT.

The yellow and blue on the frame clash with each other, splitting it in two.
Colored sidewalls on the tires don't mix well with the yellow on the frame.
The bent seat post ruins the lines.
And finally, what a way to send mixed signals - Porsche? Germany? I thought it was about Italian flair?

Just my thoughts...

White saddle doesn't match anything else on the bike.
Steerer stack too tall.
No pedals.
Chain on small ring/big cog.

For now, NOT HOT. But it has potential.

just kidding. I appreciate the thoughts and general complement. I'm not a big fan of fades and would have had the bike painted one solid color (light blue) if it were my choice, but this one has grown on me and I will live with it, hot or not.

the seatpost and tires? I like them. The flag? Unintentional. its the best place I had to take a picture. I have a MOMO flag that would have been a better backdrop and country aprorpreate, but it is obscured by furniture.

edit: you have me wanting to see it with black tires now. Maybe next time :)

Nice bike, put together well and has a nice stance. Regardless if the chain is on the small ring and having a top notch Romin Pro saddle that's white. The bike is still hot. Get some Keo Look Max carbons and your set!

I know rideability is secondary on this thread, but I'd want some pedals.

I also don't really like the seat post or the saddle, and the rear brake cable is too long.

Still, hot.

The Frankenbike makes me want to hurl.

I'm not sure how the mood or orientation of a flag can change depending on what's in my garage but yes, I do.

Beautiful Felt but as mentioned no go on hot-scale. Ditch the valve caps, lower the stack, flip the stem and then put your saddle up abnoxiously high. Re-post for this thread, get all the "hots" then reassemble into something you can ride!

It certainly doesn't compare to many of the bikes on this thread, but I enjoy riding it. Yes, I know I forgot to put the chain on the big ring.
