The DeRosa is hot. Even without the chain and cassette.

In reference to my Merak, a Chorus 11/KMC X11SL silver chain arrives Wednesday. Sadly, I'm going to miss the gold Recon cassette/KMC X11 gold chain combo. It seems 3T's "universal" freehub doesn't apply to aftermarket cassettes such as Recon. :(

What were they thinking???? I see a few spots on the wheels and top tube that they forgot to logo - a rolling eye chart.

For one thing, I'm a guy. And the other, I couldn't care less about the spacers. It's my herniated disc with the problem.

You need to have a bit of a thick skin when posting in this thread. Spacers do matter negatively when it comes to aesthetics which is all this thread cares about.

Its not funny As if I'm making fun of the bike. Its funny how save10 just totally put you in your place and gave his opinion so blunt like.

I don't love the bike either sorry

I like that Fuji frame, but the wheels clash with it.

It's without a doubt a nice bike - I'd agree the wheel decals throw it off. The paint job is bright and colorful - I bet wheels without decals and a white saddle would up the hotness.

I know you're in SLC, but by any chance were you on I-85 in a Toyota recently? Just checking.

+1, the red on the wheels doesn't belong. Keeping with the already loud theme, all white logos would look better. If at all possible, taking off everything except the "easton" decals would look better.

I must agree, too loud and overbearing. And even if it were possible to overlook that, I really don't get having a gold or whatever color chain that is...

for the record, i did say i liked the bike (i like loud bikes), but then he got pissy about it

I'd go black tape and black housing on the Fuji when it's time to change them. That will reduce the visual clutter a bit.

slowride454 03-05-13 12:46 AM

you guys are getting soft.

Muffin Man 03-05-13 01:17 AM

I like the cranks, chain, and bottle cages. Thats it.

I like his camera almost as much as the Fuji. I'm also impressed with the sharpness of that Tamron lens.

It's by purpose so you won't know it's a Fuji bike ;)
