Thank you! It is a Cobb Cycling V Flow Plus. It's been reviewed as the ugliest yet most comfortable saddle lol.

Nice bike - I'd like to see more of it and less of everything else in the pic though (closer shot of the bike). What cranks are those btw? I just broke down and ordered some 5800's a few minutes ago because Chain Reaction had them for $85. Couldn't justify the 6800 for $100 more and only 40 grams lighter.

Cool - the dark grey of the Ultegra group really goes with the scheme of the bike.

No personality. Reminds me of a dark cloudy dreary day. Steer tube needs cut. Blah! :(

Sorry sooo a not. Sure it is a great bike but you got a ton of spacers for the steerer. The saddle is atrocious. Stem is up which might be great for your bike fit but blows at aesthetics. There is nothing exceptional from the setup to the photography.

Definitely agree on the saddle looks. It's super ugly! I think its known as being the ugliest saddle made (but one of the most comfortable). First picture as I just put it together today so no fancy ones yet haha. But yea everything else is comfort oriented. For $540 it'll do.

I got blasted about having too many stem spacers, too :) I don't think it's a big deal.
I'd never photo a bike with the chain on the small ring ;)
I'm not nuts about the typeface used on the wheels, I'd be pulling that off right quick.

Otherwise, it's pretty nice. 7.5?

Alright, gang. Go easy on me. Its my first road bike Ever. Ritchey Road Logic 2.0, Ultegra 11s groupset w/ 11/32 cassette, Fulcrum Racing Zero Nite wheels. Steerer tube is going to be cut down when I return for final adjustments. Curious what you think :innocent:

It's comfy so far but I haven't rode it far yet. It's suppose to be real comfortable so we'll see! At least the design has logic but yes super ugly

I will stick with my initial assessment based on the stock looking photograph.

Saddle is absolutely atrocious
Too many spacers
Bar angle is all wrong
Tires are not lined up with the valves - front is almost - rear is nowhere near lined up
Chain is on the small ring up front
Cages are too matchy matchy

Mediocre at best, and the photography, background and general application here nets you a grand total score of 2/100.

Are the bars double wrapped? Seems thicker than the bike tubing. But overall a Looker

Saddle is absolutely atrocious (ugly but suppose to be comfy)
Too many spacers (bike came that way, might fix at a later time)
Bar angle is all wrong (prob my noobish install, although I typically like slightly tilted up)
Tires are not lined up with the valves - front is almost - rear is nowhere near lined up (didn't even know that's a thing)
Chain is on the small ring up front (oops)
Cages are too matchy matchy (matchy matchy, I like that)

Mediocre at best, and the photography, background and general application here nets you a grand total score of 2/100. (Doesn't the very definition of mediocrity infer a score of around 50, as in, "the middle"? I could take a picture outside by the lake but I didn't want that to inflate my score)

See my comments above. So a Z++ or a Y- on a graded scale? Actually I guess it would be a J- so that doesn't sound too bad. Not quite sure how to grade that. If I fix all the things you mentioned which would take like 5 minutes, would that get me above an I? I've always heard anything below D is failing though. I'd be curious to see your official bikeforums score card though to see where the 2 points came from. Paint job? At least I'm moving in the right direction from the prior 0 score. Baby steps. Right now this bike is averaging a 58% including other scores. I guess I'm halfway up the mountain (see what I did there?) So close to passing. :)

One thing I'm going to say right off the bat (can you do that 970+ pages into a thread?) is that this is a silly thread mainly just for fun. If this is your first road bike do no sacrifice a proper bike fit for this thread ever. Fit and comfort are more important. :)

Having said that it is a sharp looking bike but the steerer (I know what you said about cutting it but we have to take it as is. :) ) isn't cut and you have quite a few spacers under the stem. Also it looks better with the chain on the big ring.

Comfort and fit are more important than this thread (as I just mentioned above). Great bike for that price.

Glad this was pointed out. I definitely agree. This thread is one of my favorites here as it's really just a good time and fun. Love seeing everyone's bikes too.
