I find it hard to believe that it is exaggerated by the photo. Thats a good 350mm showing, how much do you have down in the frame? I'm not making judgement because none of us know you, but my first thought is that a larger frame would fit you better. You say it fits good now, which maybe it does, but having a larger frame means you wouldn't have to glue 2 seat posts together to make it fit.

I was just giving you a hard time
I'm glad to hear it fits you well. I guess at 6'5", something on your bike is bound to look a bit out of purportion.

Plus, I'm too fat to ride anything that nice.

Thank goodness, a "noobie" (post wise) with a sense of humor. You are going to fit in great around here.

It looks like you could have used a bit more head tube so you could flip it / lose some spacers. Have you had a full fitting? Maybe you'll be able to get lower with time. I'm 6'4" and on a ~58cm with the front pretty low. I have a shortish torso and spider monkey arms.

What's bad is that it really is a nice bike. I'm not sure if it is the photo or what but it's getting a not from me as well.

With this particular bike I think that it looks better with the unflipped stem than it would with additional spacers. I think with a proper photo that bike is going to be hot as hell.

Borrowed some wheels from the shop while they fix a broken spoke for me.

It is too nice to have to judge from that angle. Definitely hot.

Seat height looks more reasonable in that shot. Crappy shot but the "fit" does look better.

Probably has more to do with the way the seat stay connects in well below the top tube that is exaggerating it.

YukonLT- definitely needs a better drive-side pic. Even with a larger sized frameset, those BMCs still look great.

I was thinking this exact thing also. I just can't bring myself to like those BMC or other frames where the seat stays connect so far down below the top tube. Just looks weird to me.

It's a custom seat post. Check out a stock '07 Tarmac and you'll see that the original is even more hideous. Specialized designed an aero seat tube but failed to integrate an aero seat post. I don't know what to say about the bars, they are aero compact carbon FSA. The red really sold me on the bike to begin with. I went to my lbs to browse new bikes and it reminded me a lot of when I was a kid in the grocery store and looked at the generic food that had black and white labels. All new bikes are just that. Black and white. Bland. When I ride, I have an extreme sense of euphoria and I think a bike should reflect that in colors. Personally, I just don't see how someone could ride an all black bike, it just seems to negate everything that bike riding is all about.
