Since it's now CX season, here's the old Cronus Ultimate. I'll probably do another race or 2 on it before my new Crockett frame shows up. It's Red-black, Shorty Ultimates, Bontrager bar. Wheels are old Zipp 404 rims on White Ind. hubs I built a few years ago. It weighs about 16.3lb.

That Trek Cronus frameset looks much better than most of their road offerings. HOT.

Argons are another personal favorite of mine. HOT.

my country is quite small so i normally carry one bottle in my jersey pocket instead. :D

i do have bottle cages though. i took them out after realising most of the time, i just finish 1 bottle unless i go for century rides. which basically is more than the circumference of my country. :D

the spacer on top has been removed. been trying to lower the stem more but seems like the 3d spacer was too tight to be removed now. lol.

I normally dislike all black bikes but that Aragon sure is one sweet bike. Very nicely done. Nice!

I agree with the hoods being too high (but it is kinda the style), I just really like how the bar tape is done, so Im hesitant to re-wrap them.

HOT, although I would remove the valve caps. I have to ask, was the photo shot inside an elevator?
Cheers

PatrickGSR94 09-23-13 10:49 AM

Looks like it's probably a double-sided elevator, or maybe a deep elevator like used in hospitals for a whole bed to fit into.
