Thanks for the great feedback. IME, Quarqs are not the most reliable and SRM doesn't have their PC8 available yet. Secondly, using a SRAM crank on a DA bike would be a tragedy. I've used almost every type of powermeter out and I've been completely happy with the Stages; it's extremely light, more than accurate for interval and pacing purposes and it's inexpensive.

Not knocking ya, just not something you see every day. And can't you get a Quarq with a non-SRAM branded crank arms?

Thanks, however, I prefer my King Ti Cages to carbon cages. The cage was better bottle retention, it's easier to reinsert a bottle and they're the same weight as most Arundel or carbon cages. Moreover, the juxtaposition between a carbon race bike and the old school styling is pleasant.

That is true, but (and it's a very large but indeed) sadly, they're ugly. Mix good looking old school with good looking carbon and you are so right. THAT would be hot. However, as everyone else said, the bike is hot. Fortunately, it's degree of hotness outweighs the boat anchors. :thumb:

....imho the plain jane water bottles distract from a nicely set up bike built on an unsightly designed frame...just my personal taste, though... |

Change your stem and spacers to black.

Not. The white stem and spacers are so out of balance, I dont know why Trek would do this on purpose.
i'd be tempted to go with white tires, like Schwalbe Ultremos. An all-black crank would look good, too. |

We didn't race, but I think I would win

Could you move that contraption, so we can get a better look at the Ferrari?
