Thanks, lsberrios1, cycledogg, rjones28!
How dare you?!
Well, the seat post may look short by modern standards, but this is from the days when a fist full of post was the norm. Plus, it's what my short-legged, long-torso'd body requires. The cable is a NOS Campagnolo rear derailleur cable, pre-cut at the factory to the optimal length. Campagnolo's first ever slant parallelogram paired Simplex retroflection levers = shifting perfection. If I were to route the rear brake cable behind the front it would get bunched up when I turn left. Notwithstanding the fact the cable started to creep forward around the seat cluster in the photos, both cables take a pretty natural curve, IMHO.
Btw, this was my race bike as a teenager.

Thanks, it's now completely finished
Added the Enve 1.0 fork, Cane Creek AER Headset and AER spacers, used lighter Deda Trafornatto bar tape and cut 1cm off the bars , these changes drop it by another 90 grams.
I'll ride it for a while and then cut the fork to lower the front end by 10mm and get rid of a spacer.
