Yes, I confuse a lot of people; sorry. ;) Lets just say, imo a very different/unique bike, but very very hot for this thread's standards. I'd love to ride and be able to afford that ride.

If you use the double arrow next to the quote in my post, you'll see that I quoted you on the Cervelo S5... in which the original poster clearly states

which a 30 second google yields a 50mm rim.

re: the Merckx, the rims aren't bare, but the image is too grainy to be able to read the ghosted decals well enough to identify them

Nebby10 03-13-14 01:20 PM

Ah, whoops. When I had referenced the link on my phone the image cut out the text portion so I never saw that. My bad :)

Wheels are 50cm built up by a local Sydney wheelbuilder called TWE.

Tan veloflex tires from perfection. Still hot though. Very hot.

Slicks 03-13-14 05:00 PM

Nicely done, although the "super-size" bottles dwarf the bike. I am sure that they are handy on a hot summer day, but for HorN you should have removed them for the photo op.

Cages are just Tacx Tao's.

NathanC 03-13-14 10:20 PM

Oh, it's no lightweight. It's about inline with a Dogma in terms of frame weight.

Merckx has some odd angles, and I can't make myself like it.

Giant is hot.
