I always liked the Allez but... has no one barked "FLIP IT" at you about your stem yet??
;) New stem, not sure lol. |
that is a severe angle on that stem if he flips it it will be going so far down, think he needs a new one. never seen a stem so steep on a road bike?

However most Specialized bikes come with a stem that has an adjustable sleeve that affects the angle so that you have more positions. My Allez could be +/- 8 or 16.. |

What I was thinking, anyone have any suggestions on a decent stem?
having a stem only one cm longer caused me to have some severe elbow pain. if it's a mediocre or even bad fit, then disregard the above. it might work for you. |
Finally had some time to take a pic of my baby... ignore the dork disk lol

if the bike fits you well, flipping the stem or replacing it with one with different reach and slope could throw your position way outa wack.

EDIT: Alright, I can't find it, and have to go to bed, but it's where the spoke terminates, basically. |
