Kestrel is definitely hot. It took me a while to grow fond of the seat tube's termination, but I like it. Red/Blk are my colors!

Do you have the matching bib/jersey ? I just got my in the mail and their pretty sick.

I like it, but I don't think "hot" is the right word.... maybe "clean & classic"? it's pretty straight forward, minimal, and pretty sweet! Ever thought about going to brakes that allow the cable to go under the bartape to get an even cleaner & more minimal effect?

Haha, yeah, I got a cheap copy off eBay (that is actually pretty high quality) got a liquigas bib, jersey, headsweat, gloves, and socks for $90. I was pretty happy. I can pose away now ;)

I love my Masi (09 Gran Crit) too. Very Hot Ride. I am also a big fan of the SRAM setup. I hope it rides as fast as it looks.


I would have to say that White Bar Tape would make it faster.

I thought about switching it. But I had white tape on my last bike which had a brownish tint after about ride number 2. I was also looking at this color:

Green bar tape

Or maybe the metallic blue on that page?

I would use the blue to match with your saddle.

14.4 w/o computer, not trying to go the super light route, I've already got a Record Wilier/202 build that comes in under 14.
