I think it works both ways. Enve's esoteric "boutique-ness" softens the more professionally serious Mavic brand; the combination is sort of flakey. ;)

Hot once you swap to black tires. Those just don't match the bike. So everything minus the tires is hot. Tires bring it to lukewarm.

You know, in all honesty, I'm not an S-Works fan due to their geometry, and I don't like gum wall tires, but there's something about the way this bike comes together that makes it damn hot. Nice work.

I can go along with this statement. And totally agree the combo is odd.

No new parts were purchased to build this.

I like it. One niggle is the stem, there's just something odd about it. I think it looks just a little too bulky and the gray front half makes it stand out more. It does match the shifter hoods quite well, but still if there was one thing I would change there, it's that stem. On the other hand, if it were my bike, I definitely wouldn't change a stem that fits and functions fine just because it looks ever so slightly off in pictures.

Bottom line: hot.
