the levers look a tiny bit high on the bars, and only 10speed?

Not Hot!

Lol ;)

Yes only 10 speed. I prefer the hoods of the 7900 vs the 9000. I've ridden my buddies bike several times which has 9000 11 speed and I hate the ergonomics of them. I'm good with my 10 speed. They are slightly up from flat as well.

I didn't even mention that the valve placement was off a tiny bit. ;)

Nice bike, but those tires?

I am surprised you didn't like the 11speed shifters better. I hate 7900 shifters.

New Rims:D

Thinking about swithing out my Look Keo Blade pedals to Dura Ace 9000, any suggestions?
Im oaky with the 60 Grams addition as im only 58.1 Kg at 5" 10, so im light enough with the total bike weight(65.44 Kg)

A roadbike set up on a TT frame...not hot.

SpeshulEd 06-27-16 10:51 AM

The saddle angle on that Slice makes me think that you should change the name to Slide.

Lmao I re-adjusted it afterwards, when riding it felt fine but after looking at it I put it up 4 degrees:3
So now it only tilts down at 3.8 Degrees which feels extremely comfortable on my group rides now:D
It was at 9.5 Degrees down, which was to low as you see on the photo>.>

Well can't win with everyone!:D
A lot of people here like it as its unique in a sense lol, I'm extremely flexible so the angle doesn't bother me, it actually feels more comfortable than my Cannondale Caad 8 road bike; at least for me!(:

kbarch 06-27-16 06:37 PM

Since when was comfortable "hot?"

All good mang. I get that gum wall tires aren't everyone's thing. Everyone has their own tastes or preferences. May not be everyone's favorite bike, but I know that its a top shelf machine and the majority of people love it. But as I said, I know everyone has their own thoughts.

cheers!

It's fine, pretty basic but nothing wrong with it. However there is not too much on the bike, crank arms, seat post and bars. Chain rings are Praxis works, full Ultegra group. I changed out the stem and wheelset. Here are a couple updates with some seat, bar tweaks and new wheel set. 3T Accelero 40 with GP4000 s2 25c tires.

GP4000IIs with the natural color sidewalls might look better, but I haven't seen them in person since the 90's. I loved the dark brown color back then, but I'm not sure if the new ones are the same color.

sbxx1985 06-27-16 09:54 PM

It's hot. No doubt. But the tires. Enve/Mavic request black tires.

Enve is not owned by Mavic, but both are owned by the same company.

Ray Bans and Oakley are owned by the same company(Luxotica) but both operate separately.

I Never said it was lmao
I was just stating that even though I have drop bars it's more comfortable to me than my road bike for racing in triathlon, duathlons, and group rides with my LBS(x

Maybe we should start a new thread "But it's Comfortable!" where people show off such bikes. :)

I'm sure they'll operate entirely separately, especially as their joint US HQ is being built in Utah.

So I guess ENVE now controls Mavic.

Maybe it's cheaper for Mavic to operate in Utah.

Super steep seat tube with not too much drop and reach is not something that requires a lot of flexibility.
