Ace the valve stem caps and get a stainless juicer.

Haha, can't say I disagree with this.

Good looking bike - don't like the total black, and the logo on the wheels is lolz.

SpeshulEd 05-11-16 01:49 PM

Cannondale high mod
lightweight wheels
enve components

and you skipped on the arundel cages? C'mon, what's another $100 at this point?

jtaylor996 05-11-16 02:15 PM

Oh, nothing. Just a random wall in the middle of no where with a bike storage rack on it. And you expect me to comment on the bike!?

I've seen this wall/rack before - it's at a bike shop, IIRC, and probably put there for customer pics such as these.

Saddle is nose down.

Level the saddle. Peel the stickers off the wheels. And would be 10/10 without the gumwall tires. I don't understand this fascination with them on modern bikes. They look so out of place.

I'll forgive the wheel decals because they are extremely high quality wheel(but possibly a little dated). The saddle being pointed down is a bigger problem. My unit is getting numb just looking at that.

You would think with the money spent that you could spring for one of the new aliante saddles that look 100X better than the old twin flex

I dont think the nose is point down all that much. I think it has more to do with the camera angle. The aliante having a raised back might also contribute to it looking more anged that it might be. (Again, not sure because I'm looking at the photo's all you seeing as well.

Personally, since i have the same bike with gumwalls, I am a little biased and think they look great on this bike. But, its ok to have different opinions of course. I know a lot of people dont care for the all black frames either. Ride what ya like I guess.

Personally, I think the biggest thing that dislike about this bike is that it has aero bars on a non aero frame. Some people find these bars comfortable to ride, but I always feel it looks off when paired with a non aero frame.

valve stem caps are more like the tag on the suit that you didn't take off thinking it was stylish

Hmm. Except for a bit of prestige branding it has no real identity - it's like it's trying hard to be dull. Decidedly not.

Warm due to bottle cage failure. Would be fire-hot, otherwise.

As far as the bike ganging on the brick wall. Too many shades of black. The frame looks matte while the seat post and stem looks glossier. The wheels are charcoal. If you are going with 1 color I think they need to match

I agree. Here is my bike. Same frame but with same finish across the board. Fully aware that some people just straight up don't care for all black bikes or gumwall tires or both lol

Usually I don't like the appearance of a completely slammed stem, but this looks right because you don't have an insane amount of saddle to bar drop.
