Cheers! I can tell by your user name you are a man of taste, and you probably know something about cars.
This is completely off topic, but as a favor can you talk me out of buying a 1991 Alfa 164? It costs about the same as that saddle, but it really looks nice. What could go wrong with a 25 year old italian mistress, right? |

11.8 mile shake down run. Stem not straight to wheel (always been bad at that), front mech drops cable from guide.

A bit OT, but I like almost anything designed by Pininfarina! Go for it and post a photo when you bring her home ;)

HOT Would look nice with gumwall tires |
Very nice, 159 GP car? Supercharged 8 cylinder beast! No seatbelts, no fire suppresion, horrible tires... when autoracing was a Sport!

Is that from a museum, or do you actually ride it?

Would look nice with gumwall tires Normally I'd agree about the tires, and I have a set of polished silver Fiamme rims and good tubulars, but they're from my old track bike and are narrow 19c. My other bike needs tires more right now, eyeing up 27" x 1 Panaracers with the gumwalls. Currently rewrapping 2500 mile cloth tape, let's say I'm frugal.http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=528440 Same cloth Tressostar as Chrome bike, but this is blue. |
Paramount is the King Schwinn, no doubt.
This one was made in Japan and is actually "Schwinn Approved" for whatever that means. Still, was a thrift store find, turned the corner and there's an all chrome Schwinn! Paramount or not, I'm buying it unless it's got a ridiculous price tag (it didn't) The C&V guys probably know way more about it, but I think it was built by Nishiki? All the components are upgraded, the bike is an '81, the parts date 82-86 ish? All good stuff though, as it sits it weighs a hair over 24lbs. Nice all day sport tour geometry, good around town bike. |

Here's one to break up all the black. New leftover Fuji Altamira 2.3 Ultegra, 17.4 as it sits. I apologize for the valve stems, just noticed.

Playing with a new camera so my first instinct was to try shooting my bike... Bit better than my iPhone lol. Also new carbon cages and a slammed stem. (I'll cut the remaining steer tube next week or whenever I get to it)
