My feelings aren't hurt, but the wife's on the other hand.. ;). She's about 5'4", which is the reason for the slight rise. We're working on the pedals..lol.

Perhaps the budget thread would be more appropriate, the build totals less than $800.00.

I'm not trying to be mean. This thread is about pure fashion, not function. It's a nice bike, don't get me wrong, it's just not hot.

I kind of like this bike and would call it hot. The saddle does look like a limp noodle but it is likely comfy. What catches my eye is that the rider must be really tall with a long reach given the huge saddle / post set back with height, and long stem.

Huh? why would a shorter person need a rise? The frame already looks too big so you should slam the stem to get it closer to to what a normal position would be on a smaller bike

I wouldn't say that a shorter person in general needs to have a rise. In her case, her reach is good where it's at. Lowering the bars increases the reach; A shorter stem / shorter reach bars would be needed to correct for it. You're right though, the frame is a bit on the large side for her size, it's why many WSD frames have a shorter top tube than a comparable dudes frame.

You're blowing it with this photo. Let's see one from the studio and get this back on track.

He's giving a shot at taking a peasant looking photo so we can all relate. Good flash reflection on frame, bad contrasting of colors and materials yet impeccable machinery and staging. Thanks for trying to make us feel good, copper :)

frisbie17 08-04-14 05:46 PM

Blingy parts? Who is the right manufactures? Just curious?

Been a while. Got some new wheels. Please excuse the liberal use of filters. it was a wet, dark and gloomy day.

I put the bike together for a ride dedicated to my wife who was diagnosed with breast cancer. I am riding it in the YSC Tour de Pink- East Coast to support woman diagnosed with beat cancer. It is a 225 mile three day ride. But I am a male. Using my bike and my ride to raise money to support the YSC.
