Nice in many ways. But I still haven't wrapped my head around why Spesh made an S-Works aluminum frame.

I get it now. Like...I'd love to have a custom-painted Pegoretti frame, they're quite beautiful...but I'd probably just mount it on the wall and never build it up or ride it...
|
Very nice, WHOOOSSHHH. That's got some nice colors to it. Still pissed at Specialized, but I'll look past it for that bike.

No, you don't get it. Serious question, is that aluminum or carbon?

My 2013 Specialized Sirrus Limited SL4.. They made 300 of them and mine is SN # 54

Uh oh, this thread is about to get locked again, isn't it?
|
Thanks everyone...it is aluminum. Bike shop weighed in in at 15 lbs. I'm not swearing to it though. I have last years Allez race in solid black but I tired of the stealth look quickly. The photo does this bike zero justice as in person the colors really standout. I like the fit of the ALLEZ and the welds are way better on the SWORKS. Worth the price difference? Probably not, but that's like allot of cycling stuff!!

The crazy multicolored s works allez is one of my favorite paint jobs right now. Yours is nice too, though.

Except for the rear bottle launchers, this is a nice hybrid.
It's not really a hybird.. It's pretty much a Roubaix with a flat bar.. I don't expect the bike to get much love here for that reason but I love it! My 1st bike with the electronic shift and I'm sold.. This has Ui2 and not Di2 however.. |

Sweet bike. I'm amazed at how thin those seat stays are. |
Since the rules limit snarky comments, I have nothing to add...although I do wonder what is wrapped around he base of that tree...

It seems to have a more sloped top tube and a taller head tube than a Roubaix.
Would Specialized make a new frame for such a limited amount of bikes? I assume the frame was from a road bike version but again, I have no clue... |
