... Oh, yeah! There is a Merlin Extra Light with a matching colored stem... Hmm, gumwalls, check. Saddle, eww, not so good. Classic frame, nice components, yikes on the saddle and not great wheels, not a hot bike, but a nice one nonetheless. And hey, I assume the hills of France? Where better to ride? So HOT! (just not the bike) |

To each his own. New around here and just looking to participate, didn't realize there was a minimum criteria to post.... Noted.

Finally finished the build and I'm happy with the look.

I love the wheels and I love the tires, but I think that together it's too busy. You get the black rim, the white, varying COSMIC logo, the gumwall sides, then the black tops. Too much.

http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=472550 and with the black tires w/o logo : http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=472551 |
*that* is more like it. The logos look great with the frame, I think.

^I'm so sorry! I didn't see your ceramic hubs. Those are awesome.
Except they are still not great looking wheels, sorry. Just my opinion, but ya did kinda ask for it... Bike looks like a great bike, but not what I would term Hot. |

LOL, ceramic+ rims and Campagnolo Record hubs described as "not great" that's a novelty.
https://scontent-ams3-1.xx.fbcdn.net...ac&oe=56412284 Hot. |

I'm not a fan of what they are doing with the head tube now. If memory serves, they did the same thing at Litespeed for like one year, then switched back to standard head tube, after numerous warranty claims of the head tube cracking. Hopefully, they sorted it out for this new incarnation. Aside from that, I'm not a fan of how it looks, or the complexity of replacing a headset versus on a standard tube.
From this thread: Good old Titanium! Strong as cardboard! | BikeRadar Forum I guess I'm just trying to say that the new ones, from a theoretical perspective, are much better suited. |

Yes, I'd be happy with the look also! Hot bike! The yellow lines are a bit strange to me, where'd that come from? Maybe do red to play off of the Lynskey logo? But overall, hot, great look.

Not at all, I sold it :thumb:

^ Colnago is super hot, imo. I love it. If it had been my size, I would have been jealous you sold it to someone else. I confess I'm not crazy about the tires or bar tape but the frame is hot enough that it overcomes all that. Cool bike, so now the only thing I want to know is: What'd you replace it with??!

http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=472971 I believe it's too tiny ... so here's a recent one http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=472972 Not my best wheelset (in fact rear wheel is an indoor trainer wheel) but this is going to be replaced by the new M10. |

Wow that bike looks like a hippie on acid's wet dream. The only thing missing is bozo the clown riding it. You don't know it yet, but you are VERY lucky you are no longer the owner of the technicolor puke of a paint job. |
